1. The drill rod needs to be regularly maintained and the maintenance cycle should be clearly defined, and the rust and dust prevention treatment should be done in time.

2. The application of the drill rod needs to be within the rated drilling distance of the drilling machine, and the matching drill rod should be selected according to the basic 

parameters and specifications of the drilling distance.

3. The geological drill rod is made of special geological exploration pipes for mining geology and its matching connectors by friction welding, so it has good follow-up and 

high tensile strength, and can be used for conventional exploration and gas discharge. When constructing in hard rock layers, coal rocks or other special natural environments,

it is necessary to determine the drilling depth of the drill rod according to the actual material physical properties and main parameters of the drill rod.

4. When the drill rod is used with the drill bit, the drill bit should generally exceed the radius of the drill rod, and the drilling machine and the drill rod should be paid 

attention to at all times during the drilling process. If problems such as stuck drill and sudden death occur suddenly, the drilling should be stopped immediately or the 

drilling should be slowed down after the drill is returned to ensure that the drill rod is not bent or deformed.

5. When the drill rod is ventilated or watered, it should be ensured that the drill rod is tightly connected when drilling. When the drill pipe has sealing materials, such as 

O-rings, etc., pay attention to the application of the sealing materials. When damage, corrosion and other problems suddenly occur, the sealing materials should be replaced 

immediately. After drilling successfully, clean and maintain the sealing materials.

6. When drilling the drill pipe, it should be manually tightened gently to ensure close fit (thread type). Do not use the drilling machine to drill directly to avoid damage to the 

drill pipe.

7. If the bending degree of the drill pipe exceeds the standard requirements or the thread is damaged after application, the top hammer drill pipe cannot be constructed 

normally, and it should be scrapped or returned to the factory for repair immediately.

8. According to the standard regulations, the drilling depth of the drill pipe should be ensured to avoid the occurrence of the problem of the drill pipe falling off due to the 

drilling depth reaching the application limit of the drill pipe.

9. When working in acidic and alkaline areas, pay attention to the corrosive effect on the drill pipe. When drilling successfully, the surface layer of the rod body should be 

cleaned with clean water immediately to remove the corrosion layer.

10. The drill rod needs to be stored in a dry place with more support at the bottom. The top hammer drill rod should be cleaned and maintained regularly during long-term 

storage.

11. The drill rod cannot be used as a support platform for heavy objects. The drill rod cannot be placed under gravel or coal piles or piled up in a scattered manner.

12. Cleaning and maintenance of the drill rod. After cleaning, the protective cap should be buckled or sealed in a cabinet to ensure that the drill rod is always new.
