The precision diamond car cutting uses a cutting tool with diamond tip for driving. It is a process of mechanical processing using a lathe or derivative machine tool with a natural or synthetic diamond header (such as car milling cutter, rotation transmission). Sometimes using a single -point diamond driving (SPDT), although the "single -point" label is only nominal (radius knife tip and contour -shaped tool).

Vajrayana cutting process is widely used to manufacture high -quality informal optical elements from crystals, metals, acrylics and other materials. Plastic optical components often use diamond car to cut mold embedded parts. Optical components produced by diamond car are used for optical mirrors, video projectors, missile guidance systems, laser, scientific research instruments, and optical components of many other systems and equipment.

Most SPDTs today are completed with computer CNC (CNC) machine tools. Vajrayana is also used for other processing processes, such as milling, grinding and honing. The surface of the diamond car has high mirror brightness, which is different from other conventional processing surfaces. There is no additional polishing or polishing.
