High performance series carbide rods are available with coolant channels as well as solid rods. Carbide rods types with coolant holes are coolant blanks with a central hole, coolant blanks with a central hole and lateral exits, coolant blanks with two parallel holes, and coolant blanks with two helical holes. Solid rod blanks include cemented carbide end mill blanks, cemented carbide solid blanks, and cemented carbide ballnose blanks. Most of the high performance carbide rods are available with options including carbide grade, rod diameter, coolant hole diameter, length, finish, and chamfer.
