1. End rough machining

Problem: Because it is a rough machined part, the black skin on the end face is uneven. Moreover, since batch processing is done on a machining center, the intermittent 

nature of the work is very high. At this time, the tool resistance is serious, the efficiency is low, and the performance is unstable.


Countermeasures: Hengcheng’s latest MFPN milling cutter is designed at 45° and has ten edge angles on both sides. The 45° cutting angle makes the iron filings thinner

2. Rough machining of outer diameter and end face

Problem: Because the customer adopted forging in order to reduce costs, the machining allowance during the cutting process is not fixed; due to the different machining 

allowances, the iron filings cannot be broken, causing scratches on the workpiece; due to the impact of the black skin on the blade, it is easy to cause the blade to break .


Countermeasures: Hengcheng launched the HT HS geometry for this working condition. Selecting the appropriate tool tip shape can compensate for material and coating 

defects; selecting the appropriate chip breaker can reduce the generation of burrs. The HT HS geometry has a smaller land area and therefore lower resistance during cutting. 

More suitable for Chinese workpiece materials that are hard on the outside and soft on the inside. The coating is more difficult to peel off.



3. The outer diameter dimensions of semi-finished lathes

Q: Compared with the previous rough machining process, this semi-finishing process has changed. The cutting depth is very small and the allowance is consistent. The depth 

of cut does not change. Therefore, high feed processing must be used to increase the relative feed amount. It cannot match the groove shape of the previous process.


Countermeasures: In response to the above situation, Hengcheng launched HP and HQ chip breakers, which exactly solved this problem. The wide chip disposal area 

suppresses clogging and increase in resistance at high feed rates, enabling extensive part chip disposal. The shallow base angle of the two-stage ridge inhibits removal of 

large chips and damage to sharp points during high feeds. Achieving better chip handling not only greatly improves the surface finish of the workpiece, but also greatly 

extends the service life of the insert.


4. Finish turning of outer diameter after heating

Question: After heat treatment, the hardness reaches HRC50-60. The original process is the sequence of turning → grinding and cannot be interchanged. Now that hard 

turning has become popular, customers have only two options to reduce costs: one is to use cheap ones; the other is to use CBN and ceramics for high-speed turning.


Countermeasures: Hengcheng newly launched CBN series and alumina ceramic series. The alumina ceramic series adopts MEGA coating, which has fine internal structure, 

high hardness and high strength. It has a service life close to that of CBN and is suitable for processing high-hard materials. Excellent economy. The CBN series uses MEGA 

coating and is available in a variety of materials and geometries to cope with various complex working conditions.


5. Strong intermittent fine turning of the inner hole after heating

Problem: Due to the strong intermittent machining of the inner hole, there is no margin for regrinding. The surface hardness is very high, with a hardness of around HRC50. 

At this time, ordinary CBN tools have poor wear resistance, serious breakage, and low service life, and are no longer qualified. This processing.


Countermeasures: Hengcheng has launched a new CBN series, which is equipped with different grooves to correspond to different working conditions. For this type of
